GENERAL TRANSLATIONS

Translation of common language texts which do not require large terminological research. The revision is purely linguistic and stylistic. For example: guides, flyers, business correspondence, publicity material.


SPECIALIZED TRANSLATIONS

Translation of jargon texts which require large terminological/technical research. In order to obtain the final product, the translation is submitted to a linguistic revision by a native speaker and specialists are consulted. For example: medical reports, legal documents, contracts, manuals, requirements specifications.


NOTARIALLY CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS

System used in Portugal to certify translations of official documents. The notary ands a declaration to the translation which states upon honour of the translator that it is a true and full translation. The source text must be an original document or a certified copy.


SWORN TRANSLATIONS

System which is used to certify translations of official documents. It is, in fact, equivalent to a notarially certified translation, on the understanding that the sworn translator, acknowledged by court, provides the translation with his stamp and declaration, thus certifying it.

QUOTATION

All quotations are for free and without engagement (therefore, your feed back, positive or negative, is always welcome).
As you will see on occasion, the total price of the translation is based on a simple formula envolving the following aspects:

- Extent;

- Repetition level (*);

- Basic wordprice according to the language combination (from/into);

- Surcharge for specialized translations;

- Surcharge for sworn or notarially certified translations;

- Surcharge of 30% for urgent assignments (evening, weekend, public holidays);

Travelling expenses and other expenses will be charged.

In your quotation request, please indicate delivery time, number of words and/or pages (indicating the number of words per page) and, by preference, add a representative sample of the source document.

The agreed delivery time will be strictly observed.

We apply a minimum for each assignment - € 15,00 (without VAT).
(*) Repetition level means the quantity of text fragments which are repeated in a translation assignment. This parameter tends to reduce the total price of the translation.
